This fanmade trailer for “The Charioteer” is so beautiful and the actors are really well chosen and fit perfect for Mary Renaults characters. Also the song is so beautiful <3 This book really needs a movie adaptation, one where the main character appears as an narrator so that nothing of Renaults talent is lost. Some of her descriptions are so beautiful, I’ve marked them all and I can’t wait till I’ve finished that book and spam you with quotes.

It was announced that Disney was in the makings of launching to the big screen an adaptation of the Broadway musical Into the Woods. So far, it appears their first goal is to assemble a dream cast.
Meryl Streep, to play the Wicked Witch, and Johnny Depp, to play the Big Bad Wolf were already confirmed, and now, according to the Hollywood Reporter, it appears Chris Pine (Princess Diaries 2) and Jake Gyllenhaal (The Prince of Persia) will be portraying two egotistical brothers who are, in fact, Cinderella’s and Rapunzel’s princes respectively.
